How much beer is in a Party Pig?
A Party Pig contains 288oz of beer or 2.25 gallons.

How many beers is that?
Thats 24 12oz beers.  Its equivalent to a case.  We have found that any party of 20 or more people is
adequately served by a Party Pig.  Depends of course on your friends.  Your mileage may vary, no
warranty expressed or implied.

Will it fit in my fridge?
We wouldn't make it if it didn't fit in the fridge.  Its 9"x9"x18" and will even fit in a dorm fridge, not that I
know anything about that. Even the small FEMA trailers we all live in here on the coast will
accommodate a Party Pig.  If it doesn't fit in your fridge when you get it home, just wrap up the fridge
and send it to me (paid postage) and I will inspect your fridge to see if there is a problem we can't
fix.  I'll let you know when it's ready for pick up.

Why don't you just do bottles?
Bottles suck.  We hold quality above all other attributes.  Air is what kills a beer over time.  The
problem is that regardless of the container size approximately the same amount of air is introduced
into the package.  The result is that the smaller the package the quicker it dies.  The born on dates
that we have become accustomed too, are a result of trying to educate the public on this key fact,
beer goes bad quick in a bottle.

Party Pigs solve this problem two-fold.  First, we actually prime out the air of the package after the
package is filled, and secondly we have a very large volume of beer.  The result is a much fresher
product when you get it.

How long will a Party Pig last?
We mark them for a 45 day shelf life, but the reality is that we have "conditioned" beers in a Party Pig
for up to six months at cool temperatures.  The flavor does change over time, but generally for the
better.  If you keep it cold, it will keep a long time, but if you have that kind of patience you might want
to rethink your career choice.

But it goes flat after a day, right?!
No.  A Party Pig does not introduce air into the bottle.  As a result a Party Pig does not go flat.  This
is Area 51 technology.  Inside is a bag that fills with carbon dioxide.  The bag squeezes the beer
out.  Nothing comes into contact with the beer except the package.  There is actually a lot of magic
in the package.  The bag inflation is actually a pressure regulated chemical reaction.

Do I have to keep it cold?
Yes and no.  We recommend that you keep them cold for convenience.  That much beer takes a
while to warm up, but more importantly it takes just as long to cool back down.  If you let it get warm
(room temperature, not fry an egg on the pavement warm) for a few days, a week, or even a month,
no big deal, but if you leave one in the back of your pickup for six-months, I can't be held
responsible for the outcome.

Can I take a Party Pig on an airplane?
Don't check it.  We have several reports of people taking one on as carry on luggage successfully.  I
see no reason it would cause a problem as the difference between 100psi and 115psi is pretty
minimal.  PS We love your dedication.

What's with the red button?
It's a panic button.  Press the big red button and all of your problems just seem to melt away.

Is a Party Pig refillable, recyclable, reusable?
What are you, some kind of tree hugging environmentalist.  Of course they are.  If you can get it back
to the brewery, we will do our part.  The problem is that we can't fill it and give it back to you (state
law, taxation, direct sales).  The economics of it are pretty thin, but we love the spaceship Earth too.

My Party Pig pours slow, what's the problem?
You are impatient.  I recommend counselling.  No really, either that or you really need to have a beer
and chill out.  The internal pressure of the Party Pig recovers slowly at very low temperatures, this
can cause the Party Pig to pour slowly under heavy loads.  It is also possible that the internal bag
has pressed against the internal valve.  Two possible fixes: shake the Party Pig to dislodge the bag
away from the valve, or reach into the fridge and turn the temperature control up to 40 degrees.

My Party Pig pours slow, will all the beer come out?
Yes.  The internal pressure of a Party Pig is about 20psi.  That would squeeze a Volkswagen
through the valve.  We have never had a problem with a Party Pig giving up its contents.
