Lazy Magnolia
10/12/05
We are brewing again.  We have glassware now, both pints and tasters with the Lazy
Magnolia on them.  We can sell them direct so just send us and email, and we'll let you
know how to get them.

Also everyone needs to know that the seasonal schedule has been upset a bit by Katrina,
and the Indian Summer (Corriander and Orange Peel Spiced American Wheat) will be out
soon and its amazing.  Cask conditioned for a special smoothness.  We are really proud of
this one.

replaced by International Relief Aid.  We have patched the brewery back together, and have
resumed limited operations.

8/29/05
Hurricane Katrina  came on shore here in South Mississippi early in the morning.  Katrina
destroyed Bay St. Louis, Waveland and a large portion of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  The
damage is amazing to see.  Our hearts and prayers to all those affected by the storm.

8/1/05 Hattiesburg, MS Welcomes Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company
Stokes Distributing Company became the latest member of the Lazy Magnolia Family by
becoming the distributor for the Hattiesburg and McComb regions of Mississippi.  They are
suppling places like Keg and Barrel, Mahogany Bar, and Chesterfield's with Lazy Magnolia
Beers.  Keg and Barrel carries all four of our regular beers and is a great sampling point.

5/27/05 Party Pigs Go Onsale
The first Party Pigs went onsale Friday May 27, 2005 at the Choice Supermarkets on the
Mississippi Gulf Coast.  The Party Pig is a 2.25 gallon self contained draft beer system.  We
fill the container at the brewery and install a pressure pouch and a tap.  The pressure pouch
pushes the beer out of the package meaning that every glass you pour from the Party Pig is
fresh (for up to 45 days).  The tap is built in, so no deposits, no returning kegs, no fuss--just
good beer.  If you want you can return the bottle to the brewery (in a save the planet sense),
but it isn't required.

Update: The bad news is that the Choice Supermarkets sold out in only three days.  To all
of our loyal customers, we apologize.  We are working very hard to prime the distribution
chain, but no one has been able to anticipate the positive response we have gotten.
Thanks to all who purchased one, and to everyone else, we will be there for you.  We simply
ask that you be patient.  Thanks.

4/9/05 Lazy Magnolia supports St. Clare Mudbug Festival
Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company supported the Mudbug festival held in support of St. Clare
Catholic School.  The event was a great success not only for St. Clare, but also for Lazy
Magnolia.  The beautiful spring weather was a great compliment to the great beer they had
on hand.  In the event that you didn't make it this year they are planning on the Mudbug
festival being an annual event.  We also want to appreciate the people that came to the
festival to hear the bands and offer their support to this worthy cause.

3/31/05 Lazy Magnolia says Thank You
As of March 31, 2005 Lazy Magnolia Brewing Company has delivered over 150 kegs of beer.
We sincerely appreciate the overwhelming response from the community.  The most
beautiful part of this is that the buzz has been created almost entirely by individuals seeking
out our product at their local restaurants.  As a result we are adding almost a tap a day to
the market place.  Let me make this point very clear, we are adding tap handles to the
market place not just swapping them out for our brand.

We appreciate the support.  For those seeking our products for home purchase we
anticipate shipping the first Party Pigs this month.  Start asking your local retailer to stock a
few.  Thanks South Mississippi.

9/2/03 Announcing Octoberfest 2003

Lazy Magnolia is sponsoring their annual Octoberfest 2003 on October 25 this year.  As is
the custom, Lazy Magnolia is providing the beer and the brats, everything else is pot luck.
You are yours are invited along, we just ask you bring a little something to share (beer
sopping foods highly recommended).

This year the location is the same as in previous years, at the House on Pawnee.  You'll find
a map and directions below.

For information on what to bring, or not bring as the case may be, contact the Master of
Ceremonies and Most Everything Else.

Be sure to bring a clean pallette ready to taste beer.  All participants this year are required to
fill out the tasting form, and those that can't tell the difference between good beer and old
shoes will be asked to leave. ;-)
