Indian Summer Spiced Ale Indian Summer is a light-bodied beer brewed in the American Wheat tradition, then flavored with Orange Peel and Coriander. This thirst quenching ale has a beautiful citrus aroma and a light body. The clean-fermenting yeast allow the spices to take center stage.

Indian Summer was Lazy Magnolia's very first Seasonal Selection. Intended for release in late
summer, Hurricane Katrina had different plans. The first batch was packed and ready to go
when the storm of the century wreaked havoc on the coast. Fortunately, most of the beer
survived the power outage, and the good folks of Hattiesburg got their first taste of Indian
Summer in October 2005. The beer was such a big hit that we didn't have enough to send
anywhere else! The rest of Mississippi would have to wait til late 2006 to try Indian Summer.
The second round of Indian Summer was similarly a big hit as people on the Gulf Coast and the
Delta experienced the wonders of this excellent brew. The response from our customers has
been so overwhelming that we decided to make this a year-round selection.
If you like Par-3 you will love Indian Summer. It is similarly light in body, low in carbs and
calories, and low in hop bitterness. On the other hand, if you've never been a fan of light beers,
this one may very well change your mind.
Indian Summer's clean and crisp flavor profile is accentuated by high carbonation and the
citrus aromas of orange peel and coriander. Indian Summer also makes an excellent Session
Beer. A Session Beer is defined as one that you can enjoy for several pints within a couple of
hours and still carry on an intelligent conversation.
Other commercially available beers that use Orange Peel and Coriander in the recipe include
Blue Moon and Widmer Hefewiesen. Indian Summer has a very different flavor from these
beers however, because it is brewed with a yeast strain that does not produce fruity and spicy
aromas.

We don't tell people what to like, we just give them great choices!
